Akshara Gowda
Akshara Gowda is an actor who has worked with Tamil Film industry, Hindi Films & Kannada films. Akshara made a special appearance in the movie Chitkabrey – The Shades of Grey. In 2013, She made her Bollywood debut in Priyadarshan’s Rangrezz
Akshara appeared in Ajith-Vishnuvardhan’s Tamil film Arrambam. film directed by Vishnuvardhan. Produced by A. Raghuram and co-written by Subha, the film features Ajith Kumar, Arya, Nayantara and Taapsee Pannu in the lead roles and Kishore, Rana Daggubati, Akshara Gowda in supporting roles. While the score and soundtrack of the film were composed by Yuvan Shankar Raja, the cinematography was handled by Om Prakash and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad.
In a 2017 interview, Gowda spoke about her personal experience of overcoming depression. Akshara revealed how she was battling depression in an interview given to TOI, she said
“To those who are battling depression, I would like to say, ‘You are not alone, you are not the first person and you are not the last person on earth. There are many with you.’ If at least one person who is reading this article comes out and faces depression boldly, I’d be grateful,”
Gowda was born in Bangalore, Karnataka to father, the businessman JPS Gowda, and Gowri Gowda. Akshara Gowda attended the New Cambridge High School in Bangalore, and then completed her pre-university studies at Vijaya Junior College. She graduated in Engineering from SKIT college, Bangalore.
In April 2011, Akshara Gowda was linked to Indian cricketer Yuvraj Singh. However, Gowda immediately denied it and said it was mere media imagination.
