Sri Reddy

Sri Reddy made her movie debut in with the movie Nenu Nanna Abaddam in 2011. The movie is directed by Govind Varha. She also worked in the movies Aravind-2 and Zindagi. Her complete name is Sri Reddy Mallidi, however professionally she is known as Sri Reddy. She is an Indian actress who is also well known in the Telugu film circuit as well as the television industry.

In the year 2013, She performed as the female protagonist in the thriller movie Aravind-2. The movie is directed by Sekhar Suri. She is also working on the upcoming Telugu movie Zindagi, with co-star   Challa Sai Varun.

Sri Reddy is no stranger to controversy, she participated in a Nude protest, on the issue of sexual exploitation in Tamil Film Industry or popularly known as Tollywood. She has a strong opinion that the sexual exploitation is a very serious problem is happening on a very large scale. The protest was however not supported by the Film body Movie Artistes Association– MAA. The association placed a Ban on the actor. She however got support for her cause from Mumbai-based financier Apoorvaditya (Aaditya) Kulshrestha. The financier supported her cause actively, even withdrew his membership from MAA in protest of the association banning Sri Reddy.

In August 2018, Sri Reddy mentioned that a biopic will be made on her life, titled Reddy Diary to be directed by Alauddin and featuring her. She has the most youth following on social media of any Tollywood actress. Her previous film to hit the theatres was Zindagi in the year 2020.
