Standup comedian Kapil Sharma has always managed to take the online trollers head on. Kapil Sharma recently made his opinion on the ongoing farmer protest known on the popular micro blogging site. His tweet did not sit well with some of his followers on the twitter, one on them responded on his tweet. The epic reply from the comedy king is a must read.
The comedian wrote, “ किसानो के मुद्दे को राजनीतिक रंग ना देते हुए बातचीत से इस मसले का हल निकालना चाहिए।कोई भी मुद्दा इतना बड़ा नहीं होता के बातचीत से उसका हल ना निकले। हम सब देशवासी किसान भाइयों के साथ हैं। यह हमारे अन्नदाता हैं।
(The farmers issue should not be given a political colour, this should be resolved by negotiations. No issue is so big that it cannot be resolved by negotiation. We are all with our farmer brothers. They are our providers #farmer” (sic)
Some of the twitter users did agree with this tweet and responded with statements like the comedian should keep his focus on comedy and not to interfere with politics. The tweet read: “कॉमेडी कर चुप चाप , राजनीति करने की कोशिश मत कर, ज्यादा किसान हितैसी बनने की कोशिश मत कर ,जो काम तेरा है उस पर फोकस रख”
(Don’t try to get into politics, better for you to stick to only comedy. Don’t try and speak in favour of the farmers, focus on your work).
Kapil Sharma replied to this troller in his own way. In his reply he shut up the troller and said “भाई साहब मैं तो अपना काम कर ही रहा हूँ, कृपया आप भी करें, देशभक्त लिखने से कोई देशभक्त नहीं हो जाता, काम करें और देश की तरक़्क़ी में योगदान दें Folded hands 50 rs का रीचार्ज करवा के फ़ालतू का ज्ञान ना बांटे। धन्यवाद #JaiJawanJaiKissan” (I am doing my work, brother. You should do your own work. One doesn’t become a patriot by just claiming to be the one. Work and make your contribution count in the development of the country. Don’t come here with your 50 cents of knowledge)
Meanwhile, several celebrities including Diljit Dosanjh, Guru Randhawa, Swara Bhasker, and others have come out in support of the farmers who have marched to Delhi to express their dissent with the new farm laws introduced by the Central government.
