Graduate Aptitutde Test in Engineering, GATE 2026 admit card has been released. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now download their admit card from the official website gate2026.iitg.ac.in GOAPS portal. Direct link is provided below for quick reference.
Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Guwahati released the GATE admit card on January 13, 2026. Candidates are required to download the same form the official website by logging into their accounts. The examination is scheduled on February 7, 8, 14 and 15.

Candidates can download their GATE 2026 admit card on GOAPS portal link here. To download, simply click on the link, enter the details on the new window and download the admit card.

GATE score is used for admission to Master’s courses in various colleges, including the IITs. The score is also used for recruitment in various engineering entry level positions in different PSUs. The score is valid for three years.
About GATE Examination
GATE Examination, as mentioned earlier, will be conducted in the month of February at the designated examination centres. Details of the examination centre as well as the exam day for each candidate is also mentioned in the admit card.
All are advised to carefully go through the instructions and well as details provided on the hall ticket. Admittance to the examination centre is strictly on presentation of the admit card. All candidates are advised to downlaod and print a copy of their admit card.
The admit cards will be available on the website only till the date of the examination. Downlaoding and saving a copy in your local drive is also recommended at the earliest. Candidates may also check the examination centre and make any travel arrangments, if required.
