IIT Delhi Placements: 1275 Offers by December, 33 pc rise in PPOs this year

Its placement season in the top institutes and the first reports are here. Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Delhi has confirmed 1275 offers in December 2025 itself, with 1140 students placed. Over 300 PPOs (Pre-placement offers) were received this year, which is an increase of 33% over last year.

With the placement still under process, the median salary data or the highest salary figures have not been shared so far. The institute has however confirmed that there are more than 35 international offers from prestigious organizations. These offers are from Japan, Netherlands, Singapore, the UAE and the United Kingdom.

Among the recruiters that have double digit offers on campus this year are Accenture Strategy and Consulting, Amazon, American Express, Bajaj Auto Technology Ltd, Barclays, Deutsche India Pvt Ltd, Eternal Limited, EXL Services, EY GDS, EY Parthenon, Glean Search Technologies India Pvt Ltd, Google, Goldman Sachs, Graviton Research Capital, JP Morgan, Meesho, Microsoft, Navi, Nine Education, Oracle, PayU Payments, Qualcomm, Schlumberger, Squarepoint Capital, Sterlite Group, Texas instruments, and Wells Fargo International Solutions Pvt Ltd.

IIT Delhi Placements Show Promise

Commenting on the ongoing placement season, Prof. Naresh V Datla, Professor-in-Charge of the Office of Career Services (OCS), IIT Delhi, said, “IIT Delhi has witnessed a strong and encouraging placement season this year. The consistent performance of our students reflects their academic rigor, adaptability, and readiness for industry challenges. We thank our recruiting partners for their continued trust and congratulate our students for their dedication and resilience.”

“OCS continues to strengthen collaborations with diverse set of
recruiters and job roles and expect more companies to recruit in the upcoming phase of the placement season to support our students’ job aspirations,” Prof. Suresh Neelakantan, Co-Professor- in-Charge, OCS added.

IIT Delhi Placement season will continue till end of May. OCS will be hosting additional companies in the coming days. The institute is optimistic about enhancing placement opportunities for its undergraduate and postgraduate students.

The institute has further noted that as a policy it will not mention high0value packages in their placement press releases. In other reports, however, it has been suggested that packages upwards of ₹1.5 crore have been made to different IITs this year. More details will be shares, once available.
