Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi has been caught flouting traffic rules. The actor was filmed on 14th February 21, riding the bike without a helmet. The video is posted on the social media. The local police authorities the Santacruz traffic police, taking cognizance, issued an e-challan for Rs500 for not wearing a helmet to Vivek Oberoi for flouting traffic rules.

Traffic police acted against the actor after coming across video on social media. Assistant inspector Nandkishore Jadhav from the Santacruz Traffic police division issued e-challan to the actor on Friday at around 7.02 pm. This news is also confirmed by the Deputy Commissioner of Police (Western Traffic) Somnath Gharge that the e-challan is issued to the actor after the Joint Commissioner of Police (Traffic) took cognizance of the matter.
The video also shows that the actor in violation of the pandemic prohibitory orders that have been imposed by the Government.
The police issued a statement on Vivek Oberoi flouting traffic rules:
“The actor violated the traffic rules for riding without a helmet. He was also found not wearing a mask,” said the police.
Deputy Commissioner of Police (Zone IX) Abhishek Trimukhe said they are in the process of registering a case against the actor for violating the pandemic prohibitory order after he was found riding the bike without a mask.
