Tamil actor Florent C Pereira died on Monday evening in Chennai. He was 67 years old. Florent was admitted to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital. Hearing the sad news of actor’s death, there is a wave of mourning in the Tamil film industry. Many big actors of cinema paid tribute to him on social media.

The demise of Pereira has left the Tamil film fraternity shocked.Sreedhar Pillai wrote on his social Media account
“Popular character artist in kollywood #FlorentCPereira (67), who had done many character roles passed away. He had earlier worked in VijayTV & KalaignarTV. #RIPFlorent.”

Florent C Pereira made his debut in the Tamil cinema in 2003 with the movie Pudhiya Geethai. Popular actor Vijay was in the lead role. He shot to fame with director Prabhu Solomon’s Kayal (2014). The late actor has done a lot of film including Dharmadurai, VIP 2, Raja Manthiri, Thodari, Sathriyan and Taramaniand.
