CBSE 10th Maths 2025 Exam Moderate, 5 to 8 Marks Questions Tricky

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has successfully conducted the CBSE 10th Maths 2025 exam today. The paper was conducted at two levels – standard and basic. The first review of the CBSE 10th Maths question paper is here and the reaction suggests that the paper was largely easy but a few questions were tricky.

As on the of the main subjects, Maths has always been the paper of contention for most of the students. This year the board had given a large gap of 9 days between Maths and a major exam, ensuring that all students had at least 4 days to revise the subject. CBSE 10th Maths Question Paper 2025 Review

Speaking about the question paper, teachers have called the paper largely easy. The MCQs are said to be direct and scoring for standard Maths exam. However, a few questions – especially from triangles and circles chapters are said to be tough.

“About 5 to 8 marks questions are tricky and might pose a problem for a few students. The question from Circles is especially tricky and may not be received well by students. Overall, however, the paper is easy and should be easy to score. Getting over 70 would be tough but most students should be able to score between 40 to 60 marks easily,” shared Ms. Deepti.

As for basic maths, the feedback was largely similar with only 2 to 4 mark question said to be a little tricky. Overall, the feedback was of a moderate and balanced question paper.

CBSE Class 10 Maths Board Exam: Student Reaction

Student reactions after the paper were mixed. Most of the students were happy as it marked the end of their board examination. A few students who reacted called it a tough paper while a few called it easy. More reactions from other centres are awaited.
