Most of the students were rather disappointed with the paper. “It was not easy. Questions were tricky and after Physics we wanted a little easier paper.” Ramneek, a class 12 student shared her displeasure.
Another student shared that the paper was balanced and ‘easier’ in comparison to Physics but not ‘very easy’. “Difficulty level is more than previous year papers,” he said. Students are also getting concerned about Mathematics paper’s difficulty level now.
Teachers who have had a chance to go through the question paper have called it ‘well structured’ and balanced. “It is a good paper. Not very easy but rather balanced in terms of difficulty and syllabus coverage. It effectively tests students’ knowledge, application skills, and analytical abilities. MCQs were easy but a few of the assertion and reasoning questions were tricky. As for the numerical questions, they were direct formula based, and students would have been able to attempt them easily,” shared a senior Chemistry teacher.
Detailed exam analysis is expected to be shared in a few hours from now. CBSE Class 10 Hindi paper is scheduled to be conducted tomorrow.
