Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Board Exams 2025 begins today – February 15, 2025. Over 42 lakh students have registered this year for the CBSE 10th 12th Board Examinations this year. Class 10 English exam will be conducted today while Class 12 English is scheduled for Monday. Check last minute instructions, what’s allowed and what’s not for CBSE Board Exams 2025.
Students and parents may please note that the entry to the examination centres will close at 10 am today. It is hence advisable to reach the exam centre well in time. Also, CBSE Admit Card, School ID card are mandatory for entrance to the exam centres. In case you don’t have one, you can get in touch with respective schools. For private candidates, a government issued photo ID card like Aadhaar Card is acceptable.
CBSE Board Exams 2025: What is Allowed and What is Not
- CBSE Admit Card – duly signed and stamped by the School Principal, signed by parent and the student
- Stationary – Pen, Pencil, compass, ruler, eraser, etc. Remember, only a clear pouch is allowed as a pencil box.
- Only Analog watches are allowed
- Clear water bottles are allowed
- For diabetic students, a small snack wrapped in clear foil is allowed – like biscuits etc.
- CWSN candidates are allowed to carry as per the list of allowed items including a laptop – all parents of CWSN candidates are advised to refer to the special list available on the website/ mentioned on the admit cards
- Apart from the listed things, nothing else is allowed inside the examination centre. Students planning to carry books and other written material are advised against the same.
Furthermore, any student found carrying any sort of electronic device or written material would be considered as participating in unfair means and can be barred from the examination.
CBSE Board Exams 2025 Dress Code
As for dress code, students are advised to wear their respective school uniform for the examination. While they would be allowed to enter even in casual clothes, school uniform is preferred and requested.
The examination will begin from 10:15 am when the answer sheets and question papers would be handed out to the students. Students get 15 minutes reading time. The paper begins at 10:30 am and ends at 1:30 pm. We wish all students the very best of luck for their examination.
