CBSE Result 2025 Date: CBSE Class 10 Result to Release Earlier This Year? New Changes

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Result 2025 date is likely to be changed this year. The central board has successfully concluded the Board Examinations for Class 10 students. It is already working on completing the evaluation of the answer sheets for Class 10 as well as Class 12 exams. This year, if speculations are to be believed, CBSE 10th Result is likely to be released before Class 12 results.

As per the information available, CBSE Result 2025 is most likely to be released by May 5, 2025. The date and time will be confirmed by the board only on the date of the result declaration – as per the basic practice followed.

This year, however, it is likely that CBSE 10th Result may be released by April 20 or April 22. Sources close to the board have said it is likely that CBSE might do a test run with releasing the Class 10 result by the said date so as to be prepared for the same next year.

CBSE Result 2025 Date – Trend Analysis

CBSE has, over the past decade, expedited its result and evaluation process to a large degree. As one of the largest boards of the country (in terms of subjects offered), the results are usually released in about 50 days.

Earlier the board results were usually released by end of May or early in the month of June. Over the past 5 years now, CBSE has started to conduct the board examinations early and endeavoured to release the results timely. Effectively, barring the COVID times, CBSE Results have been released within 50 days of end of all the exams.

CBSE 10th 12th Results Evaluation

To best utilise the time, CBSE started the practice of simultaneous evaluations. This year, over 42 lakh students have registered for the Class 10, 12 board examinations. The exams are stretched over a period of 55 days and were conducted in India and 26 countries abroad.

As per the estimates, about 1.56 crore answer sheets of Class 10 and another 1.07 crore answer sheets of Class 12 will be evaluated this year.

The information available suggests that the evaluation work for CBSE Class 10 main subjects is almost complete. As for Class 12, the evaluation process is underway as a few exams are still pending. The results will be released on the official website cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.gov.in as well as on DigiLocker and Umang apps.
