Common Law Admission Test, CLAT 2026 Result is expected to be released soon now. The entrance examination for admission to various National Law Universities (NLUs) was conducted by Consortium of NLUs on December 7, 2025. The result for the same is now expected to be released.
No official date for the result has been announced. Officials have also refused to give a tentative date (as claimed by a few websites). Based on previous year trends, however, the result is expected to be released within a day or two now. It is likely that the CLAT 2026 result may be released today – December 16, 2025.

CLAT 2026 Result: What happens next
Nearly 75K students have appeared for the CLAT UG 2026 examination. Once the result is declared, the consortium will begin with the counselling process for admission to various colleges. The counselling, however, will begin at a later date, schedule of which will be shared by the Consortium on its official website.
Students who qualify the examination will be required to keep a check on the official website. Details regarding the counselling schedule will be provided online. Once counselling starts, students will be required to fill their choices from a list of law colleges that they wish to apply for.
Based on their score in CLAT 2026, candidates will get options. A tentative cut off for top NLUs is provided here for quick reference. We wish all the candidates the very best for their result.
