The Joint Council of Scientific & Industrial Research UGC National Eligibility Test known as Joint CSIR – UGC NET Exam or CSIR NET exam will be conducted from December 18, 2025. The CSIR NET Admit Card has now been released and is available on the official website csirnet.nta.nic.in.
Candidates who have registered for the examination are advised to download admit card from the official website link provided below. Admit card or hall ticket will have information regarding the examination timing, centre and other important information.
CSIR NET Admit Card 2025: How to Download

- On the home page, scroll to the Download Admit Card Link – candidates can click on the link provided here as well
- A new window would open
- Login using your login ID and password
- Download the Admit Card and print two copies of the same
Candidates are also advised to carefully go through the instructions provided on the admit card regarding the examination day. The exam will be conducted on December 18, 2025 as per the schedule provided. Advance city intimation slips have already been released for candidates’ benefit.
CSIR NET Exam 2025
The Joint CSIR – UGC NET examination is conducted in computer-based test mode by the National Testing Agency, NTA. The exam is for awarding Research Fellowships and faculty positions in a wide domain of science and technology. The candidates who appear for the examination getting an opportunity to work with the faculty members and scientists working in University Department and National Laboratories and Institutions in the fields of science and other interdisciplinary areas of research.
