National Testing Agency, NTA has released and important notice for Common University Entrance Test, CUET PG 2026 examination. As candidates are aware, the online applications are currently open for the said exam. To help students and provide better choices, NTA has announced its decision to increase the choice of exam city to four.
In the notice released, NTA has states that candidates will now be permitted to choose and select upto four (4) examination city while filling the online form. This is subject to the availability of city within the state.
Please note, candidates can only select the city which is in the state of their permanent or present address. All the candidates who are yet to complete their online application process can add upto four cities. For the candidates who have already applied, they will be given an option of adding an exam city during the correction window. The correction window will be open from January 18 2026 to January 20, 2026.

Candidates are again informed that barring the addition of choices to fill for exam city, no changes have been made. Also, once the online application is complete and submitted, candidates are not allowed to make changes.
For all such candidates, option will be provided when the correction window opens in January.
It is important to carefully go through the instructions available on the information bulletin before filing the application. The window to register and apply will be open till January 14, 2026. The exam dates will be announced later but are tentatively scheduled for the month of March.
CUET PG 2026 Online Application
Candidates interested can apply online on exams.nta.nic.in/cuet-pg website. Direct link to register is also provided here for quick reference.
Candidates can check the information bulletin and the list of subject sfor CUET PG 2026 examination. The exam will be a computer based test and conducted in different sessions in the month of March 2026. The score of CUET PG will be valid for admission to master’s degree programs at all Central Universities as well as some partner universities.
