Common University Entrance Test, CUET UG 2026 registration process has begin. National Testing Agency, NTA has released the online notification for CUET UG examination. Candidates interested in appearing for the exam are required to register and complete the online application form by January 30, 2026.
The online application link is now available on the official website cuet.nta.nic.in. Students are advised to go through the notification as well as the information bulletin carefully before filling the online application. List of universities that will accept CUET UG 2026 score for their undergraduate admissions is also available on the website.

The window will close, as mentioned above, at 11:50 pm on the last date of registration. Candidates are required to register online and complete the online application process within the time window provided. As mentioned, the exam will be tentatively scheduled between May 11, 2026 to May 31, 2026. This is after the expected date of NEET 2026 examination.
Notably, JEE Advanced 2026 will fall in the middle of the CUET 2026 UG examination. The entrance exam for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology, IITs is scheduled for May 17, 2026. Final schedule for CUET will be released at a later date.
CUET UG – How to Apply
Interested students/ parents can read the information bulletin available on the official website to understand the list of documents required. Note, this year Aadhaar card will be used for verification of identity. Candidates may please ensure that their Aadhaar card is updated – along with the photographs.

- On the page, scroll Down to link for Registration for CUET UG 2026 – or click on new link here
- A new window will open
- Enter your email id and phone number to register online. An OTP will be sent to confirm registration.
- Once registration is successful, candidates can login to their accout to start and complete the online application form
- Once application form is complete, submit the same and pay the fees
- After fee is successfully paid, a confirmation page will be generated
- Download the confirmation page for future reference

- Go through the eligibility criteria carefully
- Have your updated aadhaar copy ready
- Keep the necessary documents ready – scanned and as per instructions
- Keep a valid debit/ credit card ready to complete fee payment
CUET Registration will require a live photo capture of the candidate (like JEE Main examination). It is hence advisable that the form is filled by the candidate or in candidate’s presence.
Also, the online application process closes on January 30, 2026. Candidates are hence advised to fill the online application at the earliest.
