GATE 2025 Result Date, Scorecard Download and Important Updates

Indian Institute of Technology, IIT Roorkee will be releasing Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering, GATE 2025 result. GATE 2025 Result Date, as per the information bulletin is set for March 19, 2025. Check the other important dates and updates for the examination.

IIT Roorkee conducted the GATE 2025 examination on February 1, 2, 15 and 16. Exam was conducted for 30 test papers and combinations and answer key for the same was released on February 27, 2025. Objections on the same have now been collected and IIT Roorkee would release the results.

GATE Result Date

As mentioned earlier, GATE 2025 result is scheduled to be released on March 19, 2025. In the past, GATE result has been released either on the day mentioned or a day before that.

There is a possibility, however, that the result may be released earlier than scheduled this year. The speculation regarding the result date given is due to the time between the examination and declaration of the result.

As normal practice, GATE result is usually released around second week of March. This year, however, there is a delay of about a week.

Candidates who have appeared for the examination are advised to keep a check on the official website gate2025.iitr.ac.in for latest updates.

GATE 2025 Result: Scorecard Download

As you must be aware, GATE 2025 Result will be used for a variety of things. While the GATE score is valid for admission to various postgraduate courses in different IITs, the same is also used for different recruitment purposes. For both, candidates would need to download their GATE 2025 Results Scorecard from the official website.

Please note that the GATE 2025 Result scorecard will be available for free download for a short period of time. Students who have appeared for the examination will be able to download the scorecard for free from the official website from March 28, 2025 onwards. The free download will be available till May 31, 2025. After that, candidates will have to pay a fee of Rs. 500 per test paper to download their scorecards.
