India Pakistan Conflict – Exams Postponed? CUET, JEE Advanced, UPSC Prelims Exams Likely to be Impacted

As the situation develops and India – Pakistan conflict intensifies, there is a rising concern regarding the upcoming examination. National level examinations like the CUET UG, JEE Advanced and UPSC Prelims scheduled for the month of May are likely to be impacted. Please note, there is no update on postponement of any of these as of now.

Due to the emergent conditions, ICAI has postponed all the exams scheduled between May 9 and May 14 at present. Schools and Colleges have also been shut for three days in Punjab, Jammu & Kashmir and parts of Rajasthan – especially border areas. Given the situation and shelter advisories, the national level CA exams have been postponed.

CUET, JEE Advanced, UPSC Prelims 2025 Exam Updates

Common University Entrance Test, CUET 2025 is scheduled to begin from May 13. At present, National Testing Agency, NTA has not informed of any changes in the schedule at present. There is a possibility that CUET in the border areas may be re-scheduled. It is important stay informed. The admit cards for CUET 2025 first phase are scheduled to be released today. Students may please check the same.

JEE Advanced 2025 exam for admission to Indian Institutes of Technology, IITs is scheduled for May 18. It is unlikely for JEE Advanced 2025 to be re-scheduled. Most of the centres allotted for JEE Advanced are not in the border areas.

IIT Kanpur, the conducting institute, may, however, accept requests for change in examination centres for students. In case students are concerned about the situation in their area, they are advised to write to orgjee@iitk.ac.in.

UPSC Prelims are scheduled for May 25, 2025. At present it is too early for any changes in the schedule.

All students and candidates are advised to stay apprised with the present situation and be informed. It is important not to fall prey to fake news and check the information only at the official website. Parents are also requested to keep a check on the official website for any new development or update regarding the examination.
