Joint Entrance Examination, JE Emain 2026 correction window will close today – December 2, 2025. National Testing Agency, NTA opened the correction wind yesterday. The facility to make changes in the online application will close at 11:50 pm today. Link to make changes is now active on jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Candidates who have registered are advised to go through the application once and make any corrections, if required. After the window closes today, no request for any changes will be entertained by NTA. Furthermore, errors in the application form may lead to cancellation of candidature at any stage of the exam.
JEE Main Correction Window: List of Changes allowed
Candidates can change the following Particulars
- Personal Information: Candidates can change one of the following –
- Candidate name, or
- Father’s Name, or
- Mother’s name
- 10th and or 12th equivalent details
- State Code of Eligibility
- Examination Centre City Choices – provided they are as per the permanent or present address information provided in the application.
- Date of Birth
- Gender
- Category
- Sub-category/ PwD (if not verified by UDID Portal)
- Signature
Apart from these changes, candidates can also add details like –
- Paper (1 and or 2)
- Aadhaar Details
Important Points to Remember
Mobile number, email address, permanent and present address, emergency contact details and photograph of the candidate cannot be changed.
Also, above mentioned changes are allowed against an additional fee. In case the candidate makes the changes but does not pay the fee, the changes will not be recorded in the application.
Also, as reminded by NTA, no further request in any form will be entertained after the correction window closes. All students and parents are hence advised to go through their application once to ensure that it is error free. Window closes at 11:50 pm today.
JEE Main Exam 2026 January Session
Exam dates and schedule will be released by NTA in January. At present, it is tentatively scheduled to be conducted between January 21 and January 30. The exam will be conducted in CBT mode across multiple shifts.
Exam city slip is likely to be release by January 10 on the official website. Admit cards will be released in batches – 4 days prior to the day of the exam.
