National Testing Agency, NTA has released an important notice regarding the Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2026. The agency has notified that it will open the correction window for the January 2026 applications on December 1, 2025. Notice also advises students to complete the registration and application before the last date.
Correction Window for JEE Main 2026
Following requests from students who have already registered, NTA has decided to allow one time correction in the particulars. Students who have applied for the January 2026 examination will be able to make changes when correction window opens.
As per the notice, now available on jeemain.nta.nic.in, the correction window will open only for two days. The window opens early on December 1, 2025 and will close at 11:50 pm on December 2, 2025.
All students who have registered are advised to check their particulars and make corrections, if necessary. NTA has stated that no correction request will be entertained after this.
All candidates are hence requested to login and check the particulars. Changes/ corrections are possible against a fee.
It is important to remember that incorrect particulars or wrong information can lead to cancellation of candidature at any step of the admission process. Hence, all students must check their application forms carefully.
JEE Main 2026 January Session Last Date
The online registration and application window is currently open. Students who wish to appear for the JEE Main January 2026 session can still do so on the official website.
The window for registration and filling online application form will remain open till November 27, 2025. The form can be filled till 9 pm and the fee can be paid up till 11:50 pm on November 27.
In the notice released by NTA, the agency has reiterated that the registration window will not be extended. Students are hence advised to complete the process on or before the last date as specified.
All students and parents are requested to carefully go through the information bulletin before filling the application form. They will need their Aadhaar Card information this year. It is important to ensure your aadhaar card is updated and matches the details you fill on the form.
