NEET Exam Day: Thunderstorm Likely in These Cities, Check City Wise Weather Forecast

It’s exam day! National Testing Agency, NTA will conduct National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2025 examination today– May 4, 2025. As students rush through their last-minute revisions, parents must gather basic information to best support their child. One of these is to understand weather conditions.

Weather conditions, like thundershowers or heat waves are important information. Not only would they help you understand how the candidate may dress for the exam, it is also important as it may impact traffic conditions. Especially in metro cities, sudden rainfall can lead to water logging and traffic deadlocks.

To be prepared, here is a quick look at weather forecast for major cities across India. Parents are advised to make special arrangements in case of yellow alerts in any particular city.

At the state level, IMD has issued warning for heatwave conditions in parts of Andhra Pradesh, Odisha, Bihar, and Jharkhand. Orange Alert for Rain with Hailstorm has been issued for Himachal Pradesh.

Parents are requested to advise their ward to wear adequate clothing as per the dress code recommended by NTA. Also, given the weather conditions in the city, parents are advised to leave for the examination centre well in advance. Timing for the exam day is provided below.

NEET 2025 Reporting Time, Schedule and More

Students are advised to report at least an hour before the last reporting time of 1:30 or latest by 12:30 pm. Those candidates who would be wearing clothing in accordance with their religious beliefs are required to reach two hours in advance, i.e., by 11:30 am.

Parents may please note that they will not be allowed inside the examination centre. Only candidates will be permitted beyond the barricading at the exam centres.

Furthermore, no candidate will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 1:30 pm under any circumstances. Also, no entry is allowed without the admit cards. Parents may please go through the NEET Dress Code, List of Items Required as well as Barred carefully to help their child be prepared.

NTA will conduct NEET UG 2025 examination tomorrow from 2 pm to 5 pm. The seating will begin at 1:15 pm. Students are required to sign the attendance sheet twice. Invigilators will instruct the students from time to time. No candidate is allowed to leave the exam centre without handing over the answer sheet at 5 pm.
