NVS, KVS Recruitment 2025 Eligibility Criteria Modified, Deadline Extended till December 11

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has extended the deadline for the NVS, KVS Recruitment 2025. The board has informed that the online application window for 14,967 teaching and non-teaching jobs will now close on December 11. More importantly, the eligibility criteria for various positions has also been modified.

In the notice released by the board, candidates have been informed that the eligibility criteria have been modified for a few select post. Notably, the qualification requirement for most teaching jobs. In summary, the qualification requirement for similar posts in KVS and NVS have now been aligned.

KVS Recruitment, NVS Recruitment 2025: Eligibility Criteria Revised

As notified, the qualification requirements for post of Assistant Commissioner, Principal, PGT (Hindi, English, Commerce), TGT (Hindi, English, Maths, Science, Social Science, Physical Education/Physical & Health Education) and Junior Secretariat Assistant have been modified.

Earlier, the requirements for NVS and KVS for the above-mentioned posts were different. The board, as per the feedback received from applicants, has now modified these. Accordingly, candidates can now apply to both KVS and NVS for similar posts.

Those who have applied already will also be allowed to make changed in their online applications.

Keeping this in mind, CBSE had extended the last date to apply to December 11. Candidates who have applied as well as candidates who wish to apply can now do so by 11:59 pm on December 11.

Changes Made for NVS and KVS Recruitment

Note, Assistant Commissioner Upper Age Limit for NVS has been also updated to 50 years (like for KVS). Apart from these, largely the qualification requirements have been modified. Please note, no further changes have been announced. The Tier 1 exam is still scheduled for January 10 and January 11. Detailed schedule, admit card and other information will be notified after online applications close.
