UGC NET December 2025 exam date has been announced earlier. National Testing Agency, NTA has notified that the exam December session will begin from December 31, 2025 and go on till January 7, 2026. Subject wise schedule, however, is still awaited. Based on previous trends, the complete exam date schedule along with city slips will be released soon.
NTA is expected to announce the exam dates within a day or two. Accordingly, the exam city slips will be released between December 15 to December 21, 2025. The exam city slip will have the name of the city where the centre will be located for the candidate. It will also have detail of the date of the exam.
Candidates will be able to download their exam city slips from the official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. All are advised to keep a check on the same.
UGC NET 2025 December Exam Admit Card
As per the recent policy, the admit card for the examination is released by NTA about four days prior. The exact slot allotted to candidate along with the exam centre details are available only on the admit card.
The city slip released earlier is to help candidates make travel arrangments in time, if required. This is not the same as admit card and must not be confused with it. The admit card will be released later. It is hence important to keep a check on the official website for latest updates and announcements regarding the exam.
