UGC NET December 2025 Exam Schedule Released on ugcnet.nta.nic.in

University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test, UGC NET December 2025 Exam Schedule has been released. Candidates who have registered for the examination can now chec the subject wise detailed schedule for the December session of UGC NET 2025. The schedule is available on official website ugcnet.nta.nic.in. Link and instructions provided below.

UGC NET Exam is scheduled to be conducted from December 31, 2025 to Janaury 7, 2026. The exam city slip will be displayed on the website 10 days prior to the examination – as per the schedule. For instance, the exam city slip for the exams schedule on December 31 will be released on December 21 while those for January 2 will be released on December 23 and so on.

Important Instructions

Candidates may please note that the scheule is for both motning and afternoon shift. There is no exam in the afternoon shift of December 31, 2025. No exam is scheduled for January 1, 2026 either.

Candidates may carefully note the exam date and the shift timing. Details for the same will also be available on exam city slips that will be released.

Other important instructions along with the exam centre will be released on the UGC NET Admit Card. The admit card or hall tickets will be released four days before the day of the examination – in batches. Candidates are advised hence to keep a check on the official website.

UGC NET 2025 will be conducted by National Testing Agency, NTA in computer based test format. The exam is conducted across the country and the centres are allocated as per the choices filled and availability of the centre as per the choices on first come first serve basis. No request for change in centre will be accepted at this stage of the examination.
