UK Visa: Updated Global Universities 2025 List eligible for HPI Visa in UK

United Kingdom, UK recently updated the list of Global Universities that qualify for the High Potential Individual or HPI Visas. Graduates from these universities can apply for the HPI visa to work or even look for work in UK. Any student who has completed a degree course from the listed global universities can apply for a visa for upto two years to stay in UK and look for work.

Notably, 4 new universities have been added to the 2024 list while three universities have been delisted. One university each from South Korea, Sweden, Switzerland and USA have made the cut this year. These include Yonsei University, Uppsala University, University of Zurich and Boston University respectively.

On the other hand three universities have been removed from the 2024 list. Germany’s RWTH Aachen University; South Korea’s KAIST – Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology and USA’s Pennsylvania State University have been removed.

HPI VISA Lists

The list of universities is updated every year. The listed universities are eligible for visa applications between November of present year till October 31 of next year.

Only graduates from these universities can apply for work visa under the HPI route. This route is open to all students who have graduated in the past five years.
