Union Public Service Commission, UPSC Prelims 2025 online application form is closing soon. After the extension, UPSC Prelims 2025 online application process will end today. Candidates interested in appearing for the Civil Services and Indian Forest Services, IFoS Examination Preliminary examination must complete the registration and application form today on the official website upsconline.nic.in.
Candidates may please note that the online portal will be available only till 1800 hrs or 6:00 pm today. The notice clearly specifies that no more extension would be given for filing the online application for the preliminary or UPSC Prelims exam. The exam will be conducted on May 25, 2025.
UPSC Prelims 2025: Registration – Important Points
Candidates who are interested are required to register online on the official website upsconline.nic.in. Direct link to apply online for UPSC Prelims 2025 is also provided here.
Please go through the detailed notification available on the website upsc.gov.in and understand the eligibility criteria before applying. Basic criteria require candidates to have completed their graduation in any chosen field and must have attained a minimum age of 21 years and maximum of 32 years as on August 1, 2025. Age relaxation is available for reserved categories.
Also, when filling the online application form, candidates must carefully go through the requirements for the uploaded image. As per the notice, the image uploaded should not be more than 10 days older than the commencement of the application. UPSC Prelims online application started on January 21, 2025. Hence, an image taken before Jan 11, 2025 is not valid.
UPSC will also provide a window to make any corrections in the filled online application form. This, however, would only be possible for completed online applications, which require the upload of all documents as well as payment of fees.
