UPSC Result 2024: UPSC Civil Services Result 2024 releasing soon on upsc.gov.in

Union Public Service Commission, UPSC Civil Services Result 2024 will release soon now. UPSC Result 2024 will be made available online on the official website upsc.gov.in as well as on PIB’s official website. Students who have appeared for the examination will be able to check their result online.

Recruitment examination for the highest levels of departmental jobs in the country – the Indian Administrative Services or IAS, UPSC Civil Services exam carries a lot of interest. Every year, lakhs of candidates from around the country appear for the examination in the hopes to find space in the makers of the country.

UPSC Civil Services Result 2024: Only 1056 Vacancies

UPSC will release the results for the Civil Services examination soon. Approximately 10,000 candidates had qualified for the Civil Services Mains examination. Out of these, just about 2.9K candidates had been shortlisted for the interview round.

Out of these candidates, only about a 1000 candidates will now be shortlisted for appointment. The total number of vacancies announced for the Civil Services examination last year were 1056.

These vacancies also include reserved categories as well as for the candidates who have disabilities. While no break up is given, it is estimated that only about the Top 50 positions in the UPSC Civil Services find a place in the IAS. Other candidates will be recruited in various other departments including the Indian Police Services, IPS, the Indian Foreign Services (IFS) and other Grade A positions in Railways and other Governmental departments.

UPSC Prelims 2025

UPSC will also be releasing the UPSC Prelims Admit Card for this year’s Civil Services preliminary examination. Candidates will need to download the admit card from the official website.
