The latest buzz from the industry is that Samantha is Replacing Nayanthara in the Shah Rukh Khan starrer project helmed by Tamil director Atlee. The movie is tentatively titled Lion. The reason for this buzz is said to be Aryan Khan’s drug case. The pan India movie went on the floors in the month of September. At that time Shah Rukh Khan completed his shooting schedule, However, since 2nd October, the entire project has come to an indefinite hold. During this time South cinema sensation Nayanthara was filming her scenes with a body double of SRK. As soon as the reports of Nayanthara being replaced surfaced, another stream of news started circulating. Claiming that the film is going ahead with the actor, and rumours of her being replaced by Samantha are false.

A source close to the development, told a news website, “All we can do is laugh about it…this is not true.”
Shah Rukh Khan’s work has come to a complete halt due to the Aryan Khan drug case. Aryan was arrested on October 2 following a drug bust raid in Mumbai.
Samantha Replacing Nayanthara?
Earlier, reports have emerged that the sensational Nayanthara has quit the movie. After shooting for the initial part of the movie. Reports also suggested that the actress Nayanthara had kept October. And the first half of November for the shooting of Atlee’s film. However, the shooting could not continue due to the Aryan Khan’s drug case. As per the industry sources, Nayanthara has back-to-back projects lined up. This will ultimately make it difficult for her to find time for Atlee’s film.
