Popular SAB TV Show Tenali Rama’s journey will come to end on November 13. The show is on air since July 2017, will completing a run of over three years. The makers of the show have informed the cast and the crew of the news. Actor, Krishna Bharadwaj, who essays the role of Tenali Rama as the the title role, confirms, “Yes, the show is ending. I’ve literally lived the character of Rama and immersed myself in it to an extent that I have forgotten how I lived before the show.”
Krishna Bharadwaj Of Tenali Rama Shares his views:
Krishna Bharadwaj plans to take a long vacation of probably six months before he takes up a new project. He shares, “I will take up a new show after a gap of six months. As I plan to undergo a transformation and adopt a look that is drastically different from Tenali Rama. I am bald and have a slight paunch for the part. So I’ll grow hair and lose some weight to break the image. I also plan to do a new photo shoot.”
Raja Krishnadevaraya, Tarun Khanna on Tenali Rama’s journey on SAB TV:
Tarun Khanna, who joined the show in July to essay the new king, Raja Krishnadevaraya, adds, “The rumour of the show going off air has been doing the rounds for some time now, however, we learnt later that it will continue till the next year. In fact, the channel had also planned to change its time-slot. While the journey for the actor is coming to an end, he is grateful for the opportunity. “‘Tenali Rama’s popularity with the audience lay in the fact that it was unique. It was entertaining as well as informative. It ran for three-and-a-half years, which is no mean feat. Though I joined the show in July 2020, it’s been a fruitful journey.
