Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main Result 2025 is scheduled to be released in a couple of days now. National Testing Agency, NTA had released the provisional answer keys for the April session Paper 1 examinations invited objections. As many as 9 questions have been deemed incorrect by experts, calling on NTA’s legitimacy to conduct high impact assessments.
Errors were found in almost all the sessions conducted by the agency. The April session was conducted from April 2 to April 8 across 10 sessions. Of these, the following errors were found. Experts have demanded a few questions to be struck off and even asked for a bonus point in some of the questions which were ‘factually’ incorrect. JEE Main Result will be based on the way these objections are considered.

Errors Raise Concern over NTA
With the number of errors noted in the recent session of JEE Main examination, many have voiced concern over NTA’s credibility and ‘ability’ to conduct high impact examination. Notably, over 14 lakh students have appeared for the two sessions of the engineering entrance examination this year.
Experts have pointed out that marking a wrong answer can be ignored as human error but wrong questions with incorrect facts and concepts cannot be ignored. They have even pointed out that such questions usually leave the student flustered in the examination.
Notably, the examination is the first entry point to the prestigious Indian Institutes of Technology or IITs. As institutes of excellence, accorded great respect across the country, the entrance examination must also hold some important check points.
NTA had come under fire last year for the apparent inconsistencies in NEET Result. Supreme Court of India had also pointed out that a commission need to be set up to check and smoothen out the process followed by NTA to ensure faultless execution of such important examinations.
