Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE is in the process of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan, KVS and Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti, NVS Recruitment 2025. The online application started on November 14 and has already had 11 lakh registrations. Last date to register online is December 4, 2025.
Candidates interested in applying for central government jobs must not miss this opportunity. A total of 14,967 teaching and non-teaching positions will be filled by this registration process. These include top positions like Assistant Commissioner, Principal and Vice Principal as well as multi-tasking staff.
Recruitment for the posts would be done on the basis of two-tier examinations. Tier 1 examination for the recruitment will be conducted on January 10 and 11. Check selection criteria and exam pattern here.

NVS, KVS Recruitment: How to Apply FAQs
CBSE has also released a FAQs document on how to apply for the recruitment. This was done after several candidates wrote to the board regards technical difficulties faced by them.
Among the other things, the two concerns raised were fee payment errors and portal not allowing candidates to register. For the former, CBSE has clarified that application is not deemed complete till the generation of confirmation page.
Please note, confirmation page will be released only after payment is successful. In case the money is deducted from your card/ account, but the confirmation page has not generated, it indicates failure of payment. In such cases, candidates are advised to pay the fee again. The extra amount deducted will be refunded by their respective banking partner.
As for the latter (portal not allowing them), candidates need to check their eligibility criteria carefully. Candidates may please check that eligibility for similar posts of KVS and NVS may not be the same.
All those interested are hence advised to carefully read the eligibility criteria – word by word. If and only if it matches will they be allowed to proceed.
