NEET 2025 Admit Card, Exam City Slip Release Date

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2025 examination is just about three weeks away. National Testing Agency, NTA will be conducting the medical entrance examination on May 4, 2025, across the country. Ahead of the examination, NTA will release the NEET 2025 admit card and exam city slip. Check the tentative date of release and other important instructions.

NTA is most likely to release the NEET 2025 Exam City Slip by April 15. The exam city slip will have information regarding the city where the examination centre of the candidate is located. This is based on the preferences and availability of the exam centres. Exam City slip will be released on official website neet.nta.nic.in. 

The exam city slip will only have the name of the city allotted and not the information regarding the examination centre. The latter will be made available only with NEET 2025 admit card, which will be released 4 – 5 days before the examination. In other words, NEET admit card is likely to be released on of by April 30, 2025.

NEET 2025: Important Instructions

Candidates appearing for the examination are reminded that admit card will have the space to paste your photograph. The photo that needs to be pasted should be the same as uploaded while filling the NEET application form.

Parents and students are hence encouraged to keep a copy of the passport and postcard size photograph at the ready. Along with the admit card, candidates will also be required to carry their identification card, the same as mentioned and given details of during the time of registration.

In case of any concerns, parents and students are advised to keep these at the ready to avoid last minute rush.

As for the examination, NEET will be in a pen and paper format. The examination will be of three hours and this year there will be no choice-based question. This is because the syllabus was revised back to its original (pre-COVID). Students will be required to attempt 180 questions (45 questions each of Physics, Chemistry, Botany and Zoology) in the designated 3 hours or 180 minutes.

Also, no request for change in the examination city or centre will be entertained by NTA. For the students who have opted for appearing for the exam in the regional language, please note that the exam centres would be accordingly appointed in the respective state.

NEET 2025 will be conducted on Sunday – May 4, 2025. Over 22 lakh students from across the country are expected to appear for the examination.
