National Eligibility cum Entrance Test, NEET 2025 will be held today from 2 pm onwards. Special arrangements have been made to ensure a safe conduct of the exam across the country. Nearly 23 lakh students are expected to appear in the exam today. Here is a quick exam day checklist for NEET which parents need to ensure.
NEET 2025 Exam Day Checklist
- NEET Admit Card, printed and signed with passport sized copy pasted on it as well as postcard size photo pasted on the proforma – if not done, download now from neet.nta.nic.in.
- One passport size photo to paste on the attendance sheet
- Photo ID card issued by Government of India (Drivers License, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Ration Card, etc.)
- Certificate of Disability issued by competetnt authority (for eligible candidates)

NEET Reporting Time
National Testing Agency, NTA advises candidates to reach the examination centre by 12:30 pm. Students wearing religious headgear or other accessories are advised to report by 11:30 am.
- Please note, no student will be allowed to enter the exam centre after 1:30 pm under any circumstances.
- Candidates without the documents listed above, will not be allowed to enter the exam centre.
- Every candidate will be subjected to frisking, which can take time – hence it is important to reach well in advance
- Students are directed to be seated at the examination hall by 1:15 pm
- To ensure security, barricading has been placed at the designated NEET exam centres – parents and guardians are not allowed beyond that point. Only students with valid documents are allowed beyond that point.
Please remember, nothing barring the items mentioned above are allowed. Students are strictly advised against carrying anything else as there will be no provision to keep their belongings safe.
Also, weather conditions have changed over the past few days with possibility of rain showers or thunderstorms in parts of the country. It is advisable to check Today’s Weather and plan the travel to exam centre accordingly.
