Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE has released the notification for NVS and KVS Recruitment 2025. NVS or Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and KVS, Kendirya Vidyalaya Sangathan will be recruiting for as many as 14967 positions. Both teaching and non-teaching positions have been notified. Online applications begin from today – November 14, 2025 and will continue till December 4, 2025.
The recruitment notice is for various Teaching positions including the post of Principal, Vice Principal, PGTs, TGTs as well and PRTs. As for non-teaching positions, the openings are for various grades including Administrative Office, Finance Officer, Multi-tasking staff, etc. Broad category wise split is provided below.

Selection Criteria
NVS & KVS Recruitment selection process is different for different positions. A two-tier process is applicable for AC as well as Principal, Vice Principal and other teaching positions. Administrative Officer, Finance Officer, Assistant Engineer and Junior Translator selection will also be a two-tier process. This would include a written test as well as an interview. Final selection will be based 85 – 15 weights to the two examinations.
For the positions like Stenographer, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Assistant Section Officer and Senior Secretariat Assistant, there will be no interview round. Selection will be based on the merit list prepared based on written examination.
Written or Tier 1 Examination for all the posts will be a qualifying examination. It will be OMR based test and will have objective questions. The test (except for multi-tasking staff in NVS) will be a 2-hour examination. Candidates will have to answer 100 questions. Paper pattern will be as follows.
