Relax! CBSE 10th 12th Result 2025 will not release today, i.e. on May 5, 2025. Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE Results draw a lot of attention, sending media houses in a frenzy. While the board officials remain tight lipped, digital news outlets are all abuzz with question marks , suggesting it will happen anytime soon now.
Every small to medium to even large and respectable media houses go on a question answer spree – never confirming but always suggesting that the result will be released soon. How soon is soon though? Let’s get some straight answers.
CBSE 10th 12th Result 2025 NOT on May 5
Even though we cannot confirm the exact date of release, we can (with 99 per cent certainty) say that CBSE 10th 12th Result for this year will not release today – which is May 5, 2025. There are a few reasons for this, including lack of certain movement within the board.
Even though CBSE does not divulge the exact date, those who have worked closely with the board understand a few actions. Often close to the declaration of the result, there is an increased amount of activity. That activity, at present, is absent. The last notice from CBSE was to Dismiss Fake News Regarding 10th Result.
The other indication is that schools have not been informed as yet. Furthermore, and the biggest indicator is the ticker on DigiLocker. While CBSE has issued the Digilocker IDs to schools, the link to register the id has not been activated yet on DigiLocker.
Parents and students may please note that CBSE will give students a day or two to register on DigiLocker before releasing the result. Schools have also not shared the ids as yet.
Since the facility has not started on DigiLocker as yet, it can be safely said that CBSE Results will not release today.
Why only 99% Sure?
Disclaimer. As mentioned above, CBSE officials do not disclose the date of result, as a policy. From the director to the PRO to the clerk working in CBSE office, no one shares the date. The only information that is shared is on the day of the result.
Even though all indications point out that CBSE is not going to release the results today, we still cannot say it with a hundred per cent certainty. If, however, we get a message from CBSE office (usually happens around 11 am), then it will be informed. As of now, yes CBSE Results will release soon but chances are – NOT Today.
