CBSE 12th Revaluation 2025 Link Now Active: How to Apply, Mistakes to Avoid

Central Board of Secondary Education, CBSE 12th Revaluation 2025 has started. The link to apply for the scanned copies of the answer sheet is now active on the official website cbse.gov.in and cbseit.in. Direct links are provided below for quick access.

Here is a quick step by step guide on how to apply for the same. Also provided are mistakes to avoid.

Students and parents may please go through the CBSE Revaluation Process article here to further understand the order of applying. Quickly, however, students/ parents need to

  1. Apply for scanned copy of answer sheets
  2. Apply for verification/ revaluation or both after the scanned copies are released

CBSE Revaluation: Step by Step process

  1. Go to the official website cbse.gov.in and click on Click her to apply link or simply click on Direct Link for CBSE Revaluation Window here
  2. A new window like the one shown in image will open
  3. Click on Apply Class 12 Answer Book
  4. On the new window that opens – Enter the details asked which is your CBSE Roll Number, school code, centre number and admit card id. All this information is available on your CBSE Roll number
  5. One done proceed
  6. The new window that opens will show all the subjects the student has appeared for in the recently concluded Class 12 board examinations
  7. Click on the check boxes for all the subjects you wish to apply for the answer book of
  8. A fee of Rs. 700 per answer book is applicable – so if you select three subjects, you will be required to pay Rs. 2100 – Pay the fee online in the next window prompt
  9. Your application is complete

Please note, the board will be releasing the answer books on the same window from which you have applied. The board usually takes about 3 – 4 working days to complete the task. No notice will be sent. It is hence important to go back and check if the answer sheets have been uploaded.

Window to apply for the answer sheets is open from today till midnight on May 27, 2025. Students may please complete the task within this window.

Also, once the answer sheets are released, the application for verification and re-evaluation will begin only from May 28. Before the same, students are advised to go through the answer sheets carefully and decide their next step.

CBSE Re-evaluation: Mistakes to avoid

  1. Waiting for last date to apply – if you are in doubt about your CBSE result, it is advisable to apply for the answer sheets
  2. Remember, only the answers of those subjects of which you have taken a scanned copy of answer sheet of, can be re-evaluated or marks verified. For example, out of 5 subjects say English, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Economics, you have applied for scanned copies of Physics and Biology then you can opt for verification/ re-evaluation only for these two subjects. No request for verification for any other subjects will be entertained.
  3. This year, the process has changed. The first step is requesting for scanned copy and the verification/ re-evaluation step has been merged. As explained, before, if you are concerned about any particular subject, requesting for scanned copies is the essential first step.
  4. Sending offline applications or requests to CBSE’s regional office or head quarters is not applicable – only online applications will be addressed
  5. Fee payment is mandatory – without fee payment, no application process will be considered complete
