CBSE, in its notice has further debunked the fake claims regarding third party involvement. As was verified and reported by Badbola News, CBSE Result and Revaluation process is as stated by the board.
CBSE 10th 12th Result Revaluation Process
As explained in the article on CBSE Revaluation Process, parents need to first request for scanned copy of the answer sheet. Post that, parents/ students can request for either verification of marks, re-evaluation of certain answer or both. Schedule and fee is provided in the table below.
| CBSE Class 12 Revaluation | Start Date | End Date | Fees |
| Request for Scanned Copy | 21-May-25 | 27-May-25 | 700 per subject |
| Verification of Marks / Re-evaluation/ both verification and re-evaluation | 28-May-25 | 03-Jun-25 | Rs. 500 per subject for verification and Rs. 100 per answer for re-evaluation |
| CBSE Class 10 Revaluation | Start Date | End Date | Fees |
| Request for Scanned Copy | 27-May-25 | 02-Jun-25 | 700 per subject |
| Verification of Marks / Re-evaluation/ both verification and re-evaluation | 03-Jun-25 | 07-Jun-25 | Rs. 500 per subject for verification and Rs. 100 per answer for re-evaluation |
Please note, the deadline given will be till midnight on the date provided. Also, in case you opt for verification as well as re-evaluation, you need to pay Rs. 500 for the subject and Rs. 100 per answer. So a total amount would be chargeable.
For example, say you choose for Class 10 English answer sheet to be verified and 7 questions to be re-evaluation. This would mean, you would need to pay Rs. 500+Rs 700 or Rs. 1200 for English Paper Re-evaluation.
IMPORTANT NOTE: NO REQUEST FOR RE-EVALUATION OR VERIFICATION WILL BE ENTERTAINED IN CASE THE STUDENT HAS NOT APPLIED FOR THE SCANNED COPY OF THE ANSWER SHEET.
CBSE Result Verification vs Re-evaluation
As explained in other articles, verification is essentially checking the totalling error or the error in marks due to omission (a question left unchecked or not marked). Re-evaluation, on the other hand, would include a teacher going through the answer again and evaluating it without bias and marking it again.
Please remember, the decision taken by CBSE (any increase or decrease due to revaluation) is final and no further request will be entertained.
The board has also released a checklist this year with the notice. The checklist will further help parents to understand the process. All are advised to go through the same carefully. In case of any query or confusion, please write to us on khurana.kanika@gmail.com or DM on our twitter handle.
