Popular bollywood actor and Gurdaspur MP Sunny Deol has tested positive for COVID-19. The news is shared by the Himachal Pradesh health secretary. 64-year-old Sunny Deol has undergone shoulder surgery in Mumbai and was recuperating at a farmhouse near Manali in Kullu district. As per the Himachal Pradesh Health Secretary Amitabh Awasthi, the news is confirmed after receiving the information from the district chief medical officer. The Bollywood actor along with some of his friends were planning to leave for Mumbai, however, his COVID-19 test came negative. The reports were received on Tuesday. Sunny Deol is currently doing the groundwork for his upcoming project Apne-2. This movie will have Dharmendra, brother Bobby Deol and son Karan Deol as leading actors. Father son due of Sunny and Karan are to be be seen for the first time on the big screen. The announcement for Apne-2 was made by Sunny and Bobby Deol on Guru Nanak Jayanti.
The film will go on floors in March 2021 and will release around Diwali 2021. The shooting might take place in Punjab and Europe. It will have double the action, drama, emotions, and entertainment with new characters being added in. As Sunny Deol has tested positive, this will surely make an impact on the schedule of the upcoming film.
